Lost in Trance!

It’s been a while since I updated my blog. Last year had been a super roller coaster ride for me. I’ve been busy with Work, Life and Trance…

Been doing things that I don’t like…well everyone hates to do things that they don’t like but there are times when we don’t have a choice and all this while, my only companion was Electronic Music and no one else. Yes Trance! Being in a state away from the real world. People think Trance sucks, I say it Rocks! It makes everything all right! When you have to focus or even lose your self completely there is nothing better than electronic music.

Last year on May 23rd 2009 my friend Ashwin aka addu had made arrangements for me to experience my first ever electronic music gig by Midival Punditz @ BlueFROG (Thanks Ashwin) I was so excited, as I love this music genre so much and to be able to experience it live is totally awesome! But it didn’t turn out the way I thought it would People say lack of rest leads to tragedy and I learnt it the hard way (still learning ).

Before the big Friday ah! Its Friday I’m not in love hehe… out of 50+ hrs, I only managed to get sleep for 4-5 hrs and that cost me big time, but no regrets. The gig started and the music totally rocked! Was just 2 songs away and I was literally in a state of trance (I just love this phrase…Ya! I love this), My brain put me into sudden sleep…I passed out due to lack of sleep. In fact, it was so bad it took me 15 days to recover completely.

Life goes on… I was back to my routine, but my love with this music continues. Well, hitting the fast forward button I’ll jump to November 2009. When I found out that Armin Van Buuren (No 1 DJ in the world) is coming to

Goa, India @Sunburn WOW!!! Not a single day of mine goes without listening to his tunes so how can I miss his gig… No F**king way!

I started working towards my trance dream and what an awesome way to end the year, a roller coaster year that will always remain in my heart! I greatly missed my friends at Sunburn. They like this music genre as much as I do but couldn’t make it. So my next post on Sunburn is dedicated to all my friends who missed this magical experience.

Noooooooo! This site may harm your computer

On Saturday 31st Jan Big G scared the bejesus out of me. I Googled something and my sites showed up in search results with a shocking tag “This site may harm your computer” right under my webpage title.

Before going completely nuts, I Googled new term and this time it was “Google” and this is what I found… lol

It turned out to be nothing but a small coding error by Google but an hour of mental trauma for Google users

What happened? Very simply, human error. Google flags search results with the message “This site may harm your computer” if the site is known to install malicious software in the background or otherwise surreptitiously. We do this to protect our users against visiting sites that could harm their computers. We maintain a list of such sites through both manual and automated methods. We work with a non-profit called StopBadware.org to come up with criteria for maintaining this list, and to provide simple processes for webmasters to remove their site from the list.

We periodically update that list and released one such update to the site this morning.

Google team quickly found this error and fixed it. Thanks Big G

Today wasn’t an ordinary day at office since I had to play (test) a flash game which we are developing for a client. You would think Oh what a cool task spend entire day playing game wow, noooooooo trust me, it wasn’t cool at all.

The game is modified version of pacman. No matter how passionate one is about gaming but 6-8 hours of pacman? I must say this I WILL NEVER PLAY PACMAN AGAIN IN MY LIFE

Just kidding. I will have to play that stupid again on Monday work is work anyway…

This post isn’t about gaming, my friend Sudish Balan aka Prem who has a ‘keeda’ (bug) of coming up with wacky ideas, said today “Sam lets put up an excuse site” huh excuse website why? He said well it’s really easy to put up the site as we will have absolutely unique fresh content to put on the site and we can update it daily lol

People at our crazy circle like in any other organization love to bunk office and do many important things such as watch India lose a cricket match, smoke weed, taking dumps etc but the excuses what to say, Some really stupid some sad and some really bad ones and some REAL but so funny that had to include them.

I will be sharing them here… So you can avoid these because your boss is not as stupid as you think

Yeah i was feeling lucky today and to top it, today is the auspicious day of “Ganesh Chaturthi”. Hence somehow I had to set up my very own blog before day-end.
